The East Anglian Marketing Awards are a non-profit programme celebrating individuals, agencies, and businesses of every size. We’re here to champion your creativity, your innovation, and those game-changing campaigns that make our region shine.

Our mission is to give East Anglian marketers a level playing field. National awards often pit us against London agencies with bigger budgets and louder spotlights. Not us. As long as you’re good at what you do, these awards are for you.

These awards celebrate East Anglian work on our own terms, while also showcasing the region beyond its borders to attract new recognition, new opportunities, and new talent to our region.

Run by Norfolk Women’s Marketing Network CIC, these awards have evolved from a beloved community initiative that has been growing since 2021. We aim to fill a gap in the marketing awards space. No eye-watering fees. Just good vibes, healthy competition, and an excuse to celebrate.

With thanks to our 2026 sponsors

Keaton Newman

UtilityClick

About Keaton

Keaton is a rare hybrid: a director who oversees both marketing and design, with a career built on bridging the gap between strategy, storytelling, and the nuts-and-bolts of frontend execution. As Marketing & Design Director, he’s as comfortable planning campaigns as he is designing interfaces or diving into code. He’s been lead on projects for Barnardo’s, AstraZeneca, Amazon AWS, and even the Queen! (via The Royal Collection Trust).

Now five years into the energy sphere, Keaton is known for injecting humour into a sector that often takes itself too seriously. He also holds a famously sceptical view of award ceremonies, which is precisely why he’s a perfect fit to help make these ones matter.

FAQs

We hear your brain whirring, are you wondering? Find more Frequently Asked Questions here.

Do we really need another awards programme?

There are brilliant regional marketing awards all over the UK - London, the Midlands, the North, the South West… but what about East Anglia? We’re over here doing incredible work, yet there’s no dedicated awards programme shining a light on our region’s talent.

Who is eligible to enter the awards?

The awards are open to any individual, business, or organisation that operates within the marketing profession in the East Anglia region.

How are the awards going to be judged?

We will carefully select industry leaders from across the UK to help us fairly find our winners.

Why are the awards free to enter?

We've been asking the community about what, for them, is the biggest blocker to entering awards - the answer has overwhelmingly been price.

If it's not the substantial entry fee, it's the extortionate ticket price for the celebration event. We run events, so we understand why these costs are what they are. No shade. But as a Community Interest Company, we're not here to make a killer profit, we're keen to fill a gap in the market for community-based awards. Not a pay-to-play scenario, just a genuine chance for anyone to win an award if their nomination is good enough.

We're fortunate to have the support of generous sponsors who help us power this programme and make it possible.

What counts as 'East Anglia'?

There are varying definitions at play here. But we've gone with the core counties of:

  • Norfolk

  • Suffolk

  • Cambridgeshire

  • Essex (Northern parts only)

The Essex Question - where’s the cut-off?

East Anglia traditionally includes northern and northeastern Essex, especially areas closest to Suffolk and Cambridgeshire. This includes places like:

  • Colchester

  • Clacton-on-Sea

  • Harwich

  • Halstead

  • Maldon

  • Braintree

These areas share more cultural and economic ties with East Anglia than with the rest of Essex (which is often considered part of the Home Counties or the London commuter belt). If you live or work in any of these places - you're eligible for an EAMA.

Who is the organiser?

The East Anglian Marketing Awards are powered by Norfolk Women's Marketing Network CIC. Having successfully run annual, community-based awards since 2023, the Network is branching out to run a programme that is not gender-specific and is for the whole of East Anglia. You can find out more about NWMN if you visit the Norfolk Women's Marketing Network website here.
